Are the ten classics really free?

Yes. Every new reader gets one complimentary coaching edition. Enter your email on a book’s page and the link signs you in and opens it.

Can I claim a subscription title as my free book?

No. The complimentary claim is only the ten editions at the top of this page. Everything else in the public-domain list opens with the library plan: seven days free, then $20/month.

Where do the originals come from?

Almost all subscription titles are Project Gutenberg English editions in coaching-shaped Library of Congress classes. Rows that still point at Gutenberg open Gutenberg’s own page. Clason’s complimentary edition is Wikisource 1930.

Where does the reading happen?

Inside Claude, on desktop, in a browser or on your phone. You add Scholias once as a connector, which takes about two minutes, and the book opens in the conversation.

Do I need to pay for Claude?
